Hmmm. We have a lot places that voluntarily give nutritional info -- does it stop people from eating the bad stuff? Heck no!

But it just made me laugh how the food industry reacted! 'no no don't give people information! They'll stop eating at these places and we'll go bust - there's a credit crunch don'tcha know!!'

INSANITY!

HA...my favorite quote is the chef who said "Why not just let people enjoy their dinner in peace." Ignorance is bliss! Why not inform people of what they are eating?!!

Well, I'm Canadian, and I know that I would REALLY appreciate having the nutritional information available at the time of ordering. There are a few restaurants that can provide it, but most of the time I have to go online from home to figure out what I am going to order. But that doesn't bloody help me when it's an impromtu dinner date. Then I have to guesstimate. And that's really hard to do, because you just don't know how much oil and butter and such they use!
